Bye-Bye
This morning, as mommy was saying "bye-bye" to me at Aunt Joy's house, I said and waved "bye-bye" back. Mommy and Aunt Joy were so happy that I did that. I'll have to do it again since it brought about such excitment.
Oh, I'm over the anxiety stage now and back to playing on my own with no worries. I'm a good help around the house cleaning floors too. That's because I still scoot around or "army crawl" on my belly and pick up the dust bunnies! I am finally catching on to sign language too. I now sign for "bottle" and "all done." I know what the sign for "eat" and "more" is but right now it is easier for me to fuss. I'll get the sign language thing down eventually.
My favorite things to do are play peek-a-boo with mom, stand up with support for balance, chew on my rubber ducky, and play with cousin Penny and the dogs at Aunt Joy's house.
Well, that's all for now.
Bye-bye!

Pull Ups & Push Ups
I have mastered push ups for a while (when I want to scoot or be held); but this morning at Aunt Joy's house, I pulled up to a standing position on Penny's table. I heard Aunt Joy tell mommy on the phone that I have the mentality that I am bigger than I am (whatever that means).
I am definitely in full swing on the anxiety stage of babyhood. What's wrong with wanting to be held, I say? Mom says I need to be able to play on my own like I use to do. I know she's right; but I still prefer cuddling. Maybe I can balance out the two. Until then, I've found a way to get mommy and daddy's attention. I scoot over to the fireplace and bang on the protective screen. Mom tells me to stop because one day it will be hot and I might burn my hand.
Last weekend was Easter. Daddy, Mommy, and I went over to Grandma's house. We went to church on Sunday and got to sit in the front row. Also, we got to bring up the gifts. That was pretty cool. I was a good baby and kept the ladies amused. My favorite toy at Grandma's is her watches which she let's me play with.
Soon I will be crawling, standing, playing with Tupperware, eating Cheerios, and a lot more. Until then, I will take one day at a time. Mommy says I continue to surprise her each day! Oh, I'm 9 months old tomorrow. This time, last July, we were at the hospital.

Standing and Scooting
Just a week before I turned 9 months, I learned to stand at the couch. I definitely need a spotter, but I'm working hard to balance on my own. My main motivation is reaching for the remote control, or anything that I'm not supposed to touch. Lately, I really prefer standing than sitting. I'm not too sure about this crawling thing. I don't mind scooting around, but I think I'd like walking much better. So, until my little legs get stronger, I'm going to continue to practice standing and reaching for mommy...or the remote control.
Here's me playing with Sedona at Aunt Joy's house. We're buds... One day when I can verbalize it, I am going to ask mommy and daddy for a dog.
I now have six teeth: four on top; two on bottom.

Sitting from a laying position
On Sunday, April 5th, I went from a my belly to a sitting up position. Mom, dad, and I had a good time over the weekend. We went to the North Shore Park in The Woodlands and had a picnic. I really like my stroller that we take around the lake. We also fed the ducks leftover Subway. I have my two front teeth coming in this week too. The whole process is going pretty well. The weather is getting warmer and warmer. I hope we can go swimming soon!
